First of all, it is not technically a zapper as there is no electricity involved in this process. What Katchy does is it attracts the bugs with a UV light, then the fan sucks them in where they later land on a sticky glue tray and can’t escape anymore. This way, the bugs don’t clutter your counter and the process is clean and effective.
Use and Design
Using Katchy is as simple as ABC. All you need to do is choose between standard or low fan speed settings and leave the device where you think it’s best and most effective. That’s all there is to it! The package comes with 4 no-mess glue boards, and if needed, refill packs with 8 glue pads are available to purchase separately. When the adhesive board is full, you can throw it away and replace it with a new one. One glue board can be sticky for months, and with extra 8 replacement glue pads, you will be good for the whole year. We must mention, though, that Katchy is not intended for outdoor use.
